What to expect from Intermediate and Advanced level training

As students advance in age we work on developing them into unique artists while preparing them for the demands of entering into the ranks of the corps de ballet. We help them identify their goals and develop a training plan to get there. Most students in these levels take multiple classes daily and work one of our teaching staff privately to refine technique and prepare for competitions.

Students in these levels work closely with instructors on a daily basis to perfect their skills in preparation for:

  • Production Participation

  • Competitions

  • Summer Intensive, University, and Professional Ballet Company Auditions

Levels 3 and 4 receive instructional classes covering:

  • Classical Ballet Technique

  • Character Dance

  • Pointe Work

  • Variations, and Repertoire

To ensure effective progress and injury prevention, we ask students in these levels to make an exclusive commitment to the training at Aplomb Ballet Artistry. If you are looking to supplement your current training or considering a new approach we welcome new families to give our school a trial period before making a final commitment.
